I have been waiting and waiting and finally, ultimate venom is back. Bendis does a great job of filling us in on what happened on the night that venom was defeated and where he’s been since then without bogging us down. The delivery was really good with at kind of Forrest Gump style story telling going on except the people listening to Eddy’s stories don’t get on a bus, they get eaten. We see Eddy’s return and battle with spiderman and looks like he gets taken out by Silver Sable and her wolf pack, another cool recurring character, however the conversation on the park bench is taking place after that so there are still a lot of questions to be answered. I am really excited for the next issue to see how the fight ended, what will happen to venom and the fight that we all know is coming. This is a great issue and also a good one to jump in on. There is enough explanation to catch you up and it is the beginning of a new story arch that is looking to be amazing. Pick this one up it is definitely going on the must have list.
