The roller coaster ride continues and this issue starts off a story arch that is definately looking more promising than the last few issues have been. This arch is called Kraven’s first hunt and knowing that Kraven is dead and has been for quite some time I was intrigued. They haven’t fully addressed the identity of the new villain she is some young Kraven esque hunter that has an unknown beef against Spiderman. My guess is that she is the original Kraven’s daughter but we shall see. The twist in this story is actually really good. I was surprised by the twist and the quality of the writing. So far I like mister Guffenheim so let’s see if we can keep him around. If you’ve fallen out of the almost weekly Spiderman this is a good issue to pick up and give another try. The dialog is back up to Spidey caliber, the art adds to the action and the wall crawler actually feels like the Friendly Neighbor Hood Spiderman that we all know and love.
