Ghost of a Stranger is a feeling of not knowing where you are and being completely lost in a stretch of time. Musically it means they are a band that is always changing and evolving yet staying the same in their roots. They cannot be thrown into one specific genre of music. Their music has been molded from bits and pieces of various styles to create their own unique sound. About one year ago Pete Torrey and Dave Manzano set out together to create such a sound. Through a drunken conversation, the bassist Greg Gebhard was acquired. The finishing touches occurred when the person recording their second set of songs turned out to be an amazing song writer and musician. His name, Adam Korbesmeyer. Adam k is flexible between synths and guitars and adds more texture/layers to our onion (haha) of sound. He was the last component needed to construct the solid four piece band from Western New York....GHOST OF A STRANGER. This is music that you can move to, feel in your bones, and will get stuck in your head like it or not. With plans of a mini-tour across New York, writing, recording, and playing out in Fredonia, Ghost of a Stranger is keeping very busy. Fueled by the positive feedback from fans and endless support, Ghost of a Stranger is more excited than ever to continue working hard and creating memorable music that will grab the attention of anyone within hearing distance.
