South by South West is one of the most amazing events that takes place anually and this year, in particular, will make you want to be there and partake in all of the fun. I mean, Music Plus Tv wouldn't be there if it weren't going to be a week to remember. If any of your aren't familiar with the nationwide experience that is SXSW allow us to fill you in.

Located in Austin, Texas, South by Southwest is a private establishment  whose goal is to develop and deliver the best the conferences and events with the upmost quality.  SInce 1987 the company has been organizing this music festival and in 1994 it recruited film and interactive media events to its list. Now the episode is nearly flawless, covering all of the major areas entertainment with the most up-to-date info.

This affair takes place over the course of 9 days and includes and overwhelmingly massive line-up of bands, somewhere just shy of 1500, and that is only the showcasing acts. This does not take into account the numbers of music conference paritcipants, music media attendees, and the number of other participants. During daylight hours those registered will conduct business in the convention center as well as direct panel discussions, but when the sun goes down expect some memorable acts to grace the stage and set a tone which will hopefully be upheld throughout the festival. SXSW's music festival will take place March 14-18 and there is expected to be a frenzy of people attending. Will you be there?
